hawaii trip (25th Pacific Basin Music Festival)

was like 3 weeks ago but I'm still living in it. I really can't forget everything that had happened there and I wish I can go back, not caring about my grades, school, tests, homework just for that week. It was really relaxing, not just because it's like the #1 vacation spot people would like to go to. I honestly expected a lot from this trip since it's Hawaii for goodness sakes and I would be going with friends, which is rare. I'm not going to give a day to day account but ahhh, it was so fun. I met new friends, strengthened friendships I already had, and learned new things about people. (especially at the dance(; HAHAHA that was fun) It was the first time I went to Hawaii so that was pretty special too. The music aspect.. I wish we tried a little more/harder. It's not like I was one of those really dedicated people that practiced a lot and improved dramatically but still. Everyone there was good - the people from Japan, Australia, Alaska, Singapore, Washington, California. I honestly think that we were the suckiest group? ): The 10 rehearsals during 8th period and after school weren't enough, sadly. But in a way I guess we're not the suckiest group since we got SILVER (even if every group gets some sort of rating) and there was a group that got Bronze. We were all expecting to get bronze, even Ms. Miner, and were waiting for Oxford Academy to get called out. Surprisingly and shockingly, they said we got silver which caused us to cheer and scream our hearts out and stand up and clap. I bet the other schools were like what the heck because not much people cheered for us. Our school was like the most antisocial group among them ): Typical Oxford.. I don't think the other schools liked us but oh well? Oh boy, we were so happy. I'm glad the trip ended on a happier note than expected.

It was so fun but the things I have to make up is so tedious. It took me the whole spring break to catch up on math so I didn't even get to hang out. Math became a lot more time consuming ever since it became Calculus. I made up chem quiz today during lunch and I will have to make up AP Euro during cluster and math after school. ): It's worth it in my opinion.. the fun I had in Hawaii > the stress from all the make up work.

I'll never forget the six days at Hawaii with my friends, the clear beach that had multiple shades of blue, the constant sunlight that did not burn, the slight breeze, the walks with our orchestra/band group to lunch/dinner, late night talks in the hotel room, taking random pictures along the way, being just completely silly, having a little/huge rant session in the middle of the night because of a certain someone, the ABC stores on every single block, the beach that was just one block away from the hotel, all the cute guys from the festival (HAHAHAHA all the girls would agree w/me), the dance and its fail choice in music (the last song was justin bieber, oh boy), awkward encounters of certain people from a different school in the hotel, visiting each other's hotel rooms, not caring about school, yummy dinners, great views/landscape, being embarrassed in front of everyone in our performance, riding the bus, going to the beach like every single day, the random moments of rain, trying to put Aimee and Nobu together by convincing Mr. Hoshi that we must go to the 1st floor to the ABC store (all my work), taking stalker pictures of those two cuties, little get togethers, uncomfortable airplane ride, relaxing, the happening concerning my skirt before the dance (so freaking hilarious), the dance itself and the stuff that happened there (ooh la la), having to put so much sunblock before going to the beach, seeing a whole new side of Mr. Harlan, the elevator lurching, having fun, not having to worry about school and grades for once, being at such a nice place with your friends
